At Crafted Woodies, we take immense pride in crafting high-quality, heirloom wooden toys. We are committed to your complete satisfaction. However, due to the handmade nature of our products, our return policy is specific. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

⚠️ Important: Our return and exchange policy is applicable only for Open Box Deliveries. Customers must open and inspect the package in the presence of the delivery personnel at the time of delivery. Claims for damage or defects made after the package has been accepted without an open box check may not be eligible for return or replacement.

1. Returns & Exchanges Due to Defects or Damage

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, we will gladly accept a return or exchange.

Time Frame: Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your item.

Process: To initiate a return or exchange, please email us at craftedwoodiesweb@gmail.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the damage or defect. We will provide you with return instructions and a prepaid shipping label.

Resolution: Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will, at your choice, promptly issue a full refund (including original shipping costs) or ship a replacement item to you.

2. Returns for Change of Mind

Due to the custom and handmade nature of many of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges simply for a change of mind, unless the item is in its original, unused condition and qualifies as a standard stock item (see below).

Eligibility: Returns for change of mind are accepted only for non-personalized, standard stock items that are in brand new, unused, and unopened condition with all original packaging.

Time Frame: You must contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Process: Email us at craftedwoodiesweb@gmail.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. The item must be returned in its original, protective packaging to prevent damage in transit.

Refund: Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will issue a refund for the cost of the product. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. A restocking fee may apply.

3. Non-Returnable Items

For health, safety, and custom-made reasons, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Any product that has been used, assembled, or modified.

  • All personalized or custom-made toys (e.g., toys with an engraved name).

  • Gift cards and downloadable products.

4. Return Shipping

For Defective/Damaged Items: We will provide a prepaid shipping label.

For Change of Mind Returns: The customer is responsible for the cost and risk of return shipping. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

5. Refunds

After we receive and inspect your return, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Timing: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10 business days.

Partial Refunds: Partial refunds may be granted for items returned used or damaged (by the customer) or missing parts.

6. Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have (following the above guidelines) and, once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

7. Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return upon acceptance of the return.
